Back in the day - women had as much worth as cheap, worthless furniture. What's changed? Opinions, styles and attitudes! And just what of the girl trapped in the boarding school? Where what the religious say, goes. ((Just a spur of the moment intro I pulled out of a class discussion. Let me know if you'd want to read more of this! I intend to be less serious, soon!))

Cold and shivering felt the night at Elmshaw's Academy for Women. You could hear the dust settling onto the turgid bookcases and stout shelves. Not a breath to be uttered under the roof of Elmshaw.
An army of iron bars barricaded escape from the strict settlement- not even light would escape it's sinister shadows. Wind carried on the delicate skies would not be so bold to break the silent night lying over Elmshaw's shoddy and unkempt roof.
Turning in the bed was not even permitted- it was said to be a "sin" to look away from the skies "God" watches you from. The only method to leave the Academy successfully is to graduate from it. Which is only possible once sixteen years of age no less.
Only one of the 400 people in the school has not escaped, but is of age.
