A+  A-   Full 3/4 1/2 Expand Tighten

i step
out of the
shower,
reluctantly,
terrified of
the girl
in the
mirror.
she stares
back at me,
shivering.
her eyes
search me,
looking for
flaws. like
always,
she counts
a million and
tells me each
and every one
slowly
painfully

she tells me
how fat i am-
"how much
did you eat,
chubby? if
you eat
ANYTHING
ELSE tonight,
i'll put you through
HELL."
of course i always
break the promises
i make her, and so
she punishes me
it gets worse and
worse each time,
you know
she tells me
how ugly i am-
"no wonder
no one talks to
you, they just
can't stand
looking at your
f*cking FACE!"
she punishes me
it gets harder and
harder each time,
you know.
i step out of the
shower and look
down at the tiles.
my feet are red
from the burning
water. i run my
hands through my
hair, and the water
mixes on my face
with the tears
