Girls! Ready to leave?" that's my mom calling us from downstairs.

That's kind of her territory. We have all of upstairs, and we have to keep it clean or else we get no dessert, which is proven to work… most of the time.

When I am talking 'we' that is me, my name is Ren, and my two sisters, Rhea and Rachael. We're triplets and our parents thought it would be so cool if we all had names starting with the same letter; it really wasn't so nice to the teachers who had us in the same class.

We all had long black hair and same tan skin, but we didn't at all look alike. We don't get why we are always mixed up. Rhea wears dark blue framed glasses and she's 5.3 feet. Rachael is 5.5 feet and has glasses but only for reading the classroom board or something far away. I am 5.4 feet and no glasses, and we all have different styles of fashion.

The reason we're leaving is for a test for living with our grandpa to go to college. We have to live there for the summer and see how it goes. I don't really know much about him and we don't really get in touch. The only thing I know about him is that he's very kind, he's on my mom's side, and he's really healthy so he can take care for us.

We're at the airport and we have to take a special flight to grandpa's place because he lives at an island. It's not large, it's not small, but it isn't on any map you could just buy in a store because the King demanded that it wouldn't be so exposed so people won't over populate and destroy the natural landscape. There is around 20, 000 people living there right now and other people outside aren't allowed to come live there without the King's notice. Luckily, grandpa is good friends with the King.

We start to board the pure white jet with red and gold writing that says Royal Wings on it. It's a private Jet.

The interior is beautiful, white, has clean walls, as well as dark floors. There are no rows of seats for other passengers, just large seats lined with red and padded with soft cushions attached to the seats so we don't slip off. They almost look like thrones. The seats are so soft too!

When I look at my sisters, Rachael is feeling the smooth then rough texture of the seat. When she moves her hand up wards to material of the seat changes a darker shade of red and when she moves her hand back down it returns to the brighter shade of red. But when I see Rhea, she is unexpectedly sitting still on her seat.

Across the room, I see a silvery-grey flat-screen TV with the remote of a gazillion buttons under it. There are also buttons on the wall for beverages and food, emergency, and service.

When the door closes, a flight attendant comes in to check on us. She doesn't look that old; she could be in her early 20's. Her hair is long and brown, tied back into a ponytail and she is wearing some make-up but not too much on (I'm not a fan of make-up but it looks good on her). She has black pants and a white blouse with a red vest on top.

"Hello, my name is Helen, I am your flight attendant this trip." She says with a kind voice. She shows us all the safety procedures and makes sure we know everything. "Is there anything you need?" she asks.

"No, thank you!" I say. She smiles and walks towards the back and went through some red curtains.

"Whoo Hoo! I love this jet! I love this seat! I want to take it home and keep it FOREVER!" Rhea explodes with joy and happiness. She hugs the chair then runs to the back and says, "Wow! Look at these buttons! So many! I wonder that this one does!"she clicks a button and Helen looks over to Rhea who crazily pressing buttons.

She covers her mouth before she laughs and manages to say, "Sorry, those aren't on yet. The flight will begin soon so can you sit back down and fasten your seatbelts please."

Then she goes back behind the curtain to sit down.

Bing Bong— "ATTENTION PASSENGERS, PREPARE FOR FLIGHT TO THE KARINA LANDS." —Bing Bong. The Jet starts to move and soon we're off the ground. The light on the wall above us turned from seatbelts on to seatbelts off.

Before I know it Rhea shoots up and gets to the buttons again she clicks one and waits to see what happens. Helen enters the room with a blanket and pillow and turns to Rhea."Sleepy already?" she asks sarcastically. Rhea looks up and shakes her head. She clicks the food button instead. "Oh? I'll bring in snacks for everyone then."

Helen walks back to her part of the jet and Rachael gives Rhea a stare that says don't be so annoying! But Rhea just sits down to get ready for snack time.

Helen soon comes back with a trolley full of food and drinks. It ranged from crackers to hot fluffy white rice and water to orange juice. She pulls a small table out from the wall for Rhea and I do the same. "What would you like to eat?" she asks.

I don't know what to choose.

I smile at her and say "Anything… you can choose."

And she does. She takes three trays out from under the trolley and grabs whatever looks good to her. We all got a bowl of rice with veggies, strawberries, and crackers.

"Itadakimasu!" Rachael announces and we dig in. We aren't Japanese, we're actually half Chinese, half Vietnamese, but we watched enough anime that we can understand a couple things.

"NO MEAT?!" Rhea shouts.

Helen goes to the back again after collecting our trays and helping us put the tables back up. The three of us decides to play cards when Helen insists and gives us a deck to play with. We invite her to play and she beats us in every game.

She so good at playing cards…I think she set us up!

Something in her pocket starts beeping and she rushes to the front immediately and told us to stay here. We wait about five minutes until she came back.

"The jet is running out of fuel so we have to land soon. We're just lucky enough that the King's ship is close by so we can land there." She tries to say as calmly as she can, but a sudden bump shook the jet and all of us rushed to a seat.

There was an extra seat across from Rachael so Helen went there. I'm happy she doesn't have to sit at the back alone.

Bing Bong–"WE ARE ABOUT THE LAND THE JET SO EVERYONE PLEASE SIT DOWN AND BUCKLE THEIR SEATBELTS." – Bing Bong.

The landing was faster than we thought. All the lights went out and all I could see out the window are clouds rushing past us. We skid across the water then slowly stop. Helen opens the emergency door then she leaves to check on the pilots. They come out and seem be fine.

They are both men. One man is called Captain Seth and the other is called Co-Captain Jo.

Helen takes out six life jackets and we jump into the freezing cold ocean. The Captain and Helen clips everyone together and we try to swim away from the sinking jet as fast as possible.

We manage to get away from the whirlpool that was just about to happen and just float. The three adults surround us and put us in the middle.

We hear a motor coming closer, and get excited. I see a small motor-boat coming towards us with a white flag that had red dragon playing with the moon and sun in the middle. The boat picks us up and drives to a gigantic white ship with the same flag. It is loaded with wooden crates and lined with the crew, watching us come in.

Someone shows Helen, my sisters, and I to a cabin. Seth and Jo leaves with another person to another cabin. They gave us each a warm blanket to be in until we get to Karina. The ship stops and we finally get to leave. I really hope grandpa isn't worried.

"Just wait until you see your birthday present son." A confident male voice says.

He's wearing a dark red suit that looks like it was made with smooth material, as well as a golden royal crown with rubies embedded into it on his bald head.

The boy beside him looked about my age and he had very dark brown semi-curly short hair and he's wearing a suit like his dad but dark blue instead. He isn't wearing a crown though.

"Here it is!" the King said. We walked up at the same time, which probably wasn't the best timing. "You got me wet...girls? You got me girls? But I really wanted just a new crown with emeralds embedded into it, Father…" the prince frowned.

Sure, he can say that with no problem. The King frowned. "What? I did get you an emerald crown!" the King whimpers and walk over to the crew to find out what happened.

The prince walks over to us with a curious look on his face. "HULLO, I-AM-PRINCE-AIAS! WHERE-ARE-YOU-FROM?!" he asks us slowly and loudly.

"WE'RE FROM CA–NA–DA!" Rhea imitates his tone.

"Yeah, were not deaf either!" Rachael says, slowly and shaking her head at the same time. People are staring now. I guess because he's their prince.

"Oh… you speak English? You must be the people moving in, Rachael, Rhea, and Ren Chai. Your Grandfather is over there!" he says, a little red.

He points over to a dark green pickup truck that looks brand new and in white the name of grandpa's tea shop, Grandpa's Tea, at the sides. No one is in it though. We walk over there to check it out, at the same time Prince Aias walks over to his father.

"Hey, you did get me one!" he puts his right hand on the King's shoulder gazing at the precious gems.

The vehicle is empty and there is no sign of—"WELCOME TO KARINA MY GIRLS! Oh my, I must be old for my grandchildren to be going to college now!" That's Grandpa Kail.

I notice he's kind of wet, like us. We're much taller than him now even though the last time he saw us was when we were just born.

"Why are you wet? And does Jo have that rash again?" grandpa asks. "...Never mind! You're here, so let's get going! You can sit at the back and dry off on the way."

We drive away from port and go up the green grassy hill, just in front of the mountains covered in trees, to get to the shop. When we're up, the top of the hill is actually flat and the tea shop is fully visible now.

It is an old, strong, large house, base of stone, built of wood, down by a river. Down stairs is tea shop, while upstairs is the living space.

There are three rooms in the tea shop. The main entrance is largest room (calming tea scent all around), consists of 7 tables and a large wooden front desk with a cashier on top, and behind is selves of hand-made tea. The room to the right is the bathroom, clean and sanitary. The room at the left is the kitchen, the mixed aromas of different types of tea. It has a stair case and a door further to the back of the kitchen, leading to outside, Grandpa Kail's impressive garden.

The living space consists of six bedrooms to the left of the house, a kitchen with a dining table at one side of the room at the right, a sitting room with a large book shelf full of books, and a flat screen plasma TV. There's also three sofa's (three seats, two seats, one seat), and a large bathroom. There is three small bedrooms which includes a dresser, a night stand with a lamp, and a large bed. The large bedroom is Grandpa's. In it, he has a large bed, closet, bathroom, TV, dresser, desk, and shelves of things he would like to keep.

We get to pick which bedroom to have and Rhea charges for the one furthest away from the stairs, Rachael picks the one between, and I get the one near the stairs, I suppose. We all take a shower one by one while Grandpa would start dinner. He wouldn't let us in the living room or kitchen until we don't smell like drying seaweed and salt water anymore.

Grandpa Kail goes into a closet in the hallway beside his bedroom and took out a box of mom's clothes from when she still lived here. They still look in good condition.

"I think there is enough for each of you three to split it evenly. If not, fight like monkeys, but I don't want to hear it." He hums away to the kitchen.

Rhea dumps it all on her bed and we sort it out. Luckily, there is enough for all of us. She takes a white tank top, an orange t-shirt with purple writing on it that says immortality on it, and a light green hoodie that has a green monster eating peanut butter straight out of the jar. Then she takes two pairs of dark blue jeans.

Rachael gets a pink cardigan, with a matching skirt and a white blouse to go with it. She also gets a simple yellow day dress with a monarch butterfly at the edge of the skirt of the dress. She grabs the white shorts and a lavender spaghetti strap tank with a large bow in front.

Last but not least, I get the blue jeans that are hemmed at the bottom with clear thread (she probably shortened the length of the pant legs) and dark green shorts. I also get a blue graphic tee with a flower on it at the more left-bottom side than the middle, printed with a darker blue than the tee itself. The last thing on the bed was a light and dark pink coat that most likely isn't needed this time of year. That's probably the reason why they didn't pick it. I am also the one who usually feels cold before anyone else in the family even in the summer.

Then I go last to shower, and by the time I'm done, dinner is ready.

For dinner, we have cooked white rice, mackerel, and vegetable soup. Something great about living here is that they have lots and lots of fish. Especially mackerel, I love mackerel.

"Yeah, MEAT!" Rhea shouts.

After eating the delicious food, Grandpa went into the kitchen and brings back tea.

"This tea is made from the leaves of Poseidon's Blossom, a rare, blue flower that can only be found here on this island. I heard that…" and he goes on with the story. I partly listen but I feel too tired to. It's only 9:47pm though. "… well any ways, that was why I was late for picking you three up, don't tell your mom. Go ahead now, drink up!"

Rachael stares at the cup with the foggy blue tea in it. I'm guessing she doesn't want to try it.

"After you, Ren!" Rachael says.

Now Grandpa probably expects me to drink it. I lift up the porcelain cup to my lips and try to take a small sip of the tea. It felt like it was evaporating in my throat when I swallowed it, but it doesn't burn. It's actually refreshing! It tastes sweet… almost salty?

I watch Rachael and Rhea try it, their uneasy look on their face changed to satisfaction, without delay.

"Careful! If you drink too much at a time you can get ill instantly! It can even be life threatening!" We quickly put our cups down. Why would he feed us this?! "… or maybe that was Hades' rose! Better find that book again..." Grandpa mumbled as he rushed to his bedroom. "You girls go on to bed. It's a big day tomorrow!"

"Wake up, wake up, get your hot cakes and syrup!"

Geez! What time is it?!

I brush my teeth and sit down for breakfast. There are chocolate chip pancakes on Rachael's plate, peanut butter pancakes for Rhea, and blueberry pancakes for me! Grandpa has…um… green pancakes.

"What kind of cakes are those?" Rachael asks.

"Green tea flavoured, of course! There's a first for everything, right?" Grandpa answers. "So, today you will be working for me. At the tea shop to pay for your college tuition."

We set up the tables and open up. Grandpa will be with me and Rachael serving tea while Rhea is at the cashier. Slowly the shop filled with the scent of tea. It's quite relaxing...

Later this evening, when everyone has left, the King entered the shop with a bunch of body guards.

"Leo! The usual, isn't it?" Grandpa greets him and locks the door.

"Please, and an extra for my son too, my friend." King Leo says and he steps aside.

"Oh! Didn't see you there, Aias. You don't usually come." Grandpa welcomes.

"It's Prince Aias, please!" Aias announces.

All of the body guards sit down around the shop and the King, Prince and grandpa sits in the middle. Grandpa makes everyone tea and the King insist that we serve the body guards first. They all got Green Tea.

King Leo and Prince Aias gets special Jasmine tea.

Grandpa sits down at the table. I notice Prince Aias looking at me and my sisters sometimes, we're behind the counter. I try to ignore it.

Finally, he stands up and walks over to us. Then he stares at us again. Why? Is there something on my face?

"Do any of you know anything about Karina's Prophecy?"

"Son? What are you doing?"

"Never mind, I'll ask you later. Father, I was only asking them about the teas." he whispered and gets back to his seat.

"They just started my young Prince. I can tell you everything you need to know right now if you want. Now, the first tea ever made in Karina was mine! Just kidding, It was actually..." Grandpa starts.

Why'd he ask us that?
