Fight in the night

It crushes my heart seeing two people fighting.

Don't they know they are also hurting others when they are quarrelling?

Can't they just settle down for a peaceful tea?

Rather than blaming each other from their own doing?

Shouting and jabbing doesn't solve anything.

But a humble talk can stop the aching.

I see a young child shivering in fear,

Praying to the Lord to halt the tear.

It's sad to see the innocence suffer,

From the wrong doings of a sinner.

A/N: Dont know why, but I wrote this when I feel a little down in the house.
