Gettin' singey with it.
Oh to be in a choir
oh to let rip in song
With singing you can be on fire
Or out of tune and wrong
Hide at the back and squeak
Out in the front with pride
Skulk in the centre of the chorus
Lurk at the edge or the side
To do songs by Lennon & McCartney
Or something by Sir Elton of John
You try to avoid Macarenas
Or tunes that drag on too long
Still you carry on bravely
Through chords, Verse and the rest
As whatever you do in the choir
The pub afterwards is best.
