A Mellow Tune
By Savannah Stephen
There are many scales, if you can play them right
And if you don't sound like a whale you can play all night
It sounds awful if you squeak
Almost like a goose
You'd wince and look meek
But to learn, let loose
The sound can be smooth
Very mellow, I do say
It's great to be soothed
I play it every day
I'd practice all the time
Upstairs in my room
With that clarinet of mine
Played from the top of the roof!
