Open your eyes, what do you see?
A blackened world, reality.
The pain blocks your lungs, harder to breathe.
And now I'm searching for the answer tonight.

Close your eyes, what do you see?
Brightness, Colors, Serenity.
A warm hearted smile, so stay a while.
And now you'll see the world as more than pain.

Fade to black, heart attack.
Pain and suffering, diffuse to dreams.
Answers cracked, no holding back.
A life of lies, deceit; abusing me!

Close your eyes, what do you see?
Brightness, Colors, Serenity.
A warm hearted smile, so stay a while.
And now you'll see the world as more than pain.

[Now open your eyes!]
[Search deep inside!]
{Block out the lies!}
And scream, oh scream, yea scream for better days!

Close your eyes, what do you see?
Brightness, Colors, Serenity.
A warm hearted smile, so stay a while.
And now you'll see the world as more than pain.

What have we learned, life overturned?
So when you close your eyes.
(Close your eyes!)
You see the world through clearer skies!
(Clearer skies!) x2 {Clearer eyes!} x2

'The darkness of dreams will shroud the pains of reality.
The shadows of pleasant thoughts will devoid the hardships of life.
And while the struggles may be to hard to bear, just remember, the answer lies behind shuttered eyes.'

{ Growl }
[ Scream ]
( Scream - Background)
