Susan sighed in relief as she found herself in the warm comfort of her own apartment. She closed the door behind her and laid her sketch pad out onto the dining table. She opened the cupboards underneath the sink and picked up a can of soup to open and pour out into a soup bowl. She stuck it in the microwave and paused as her phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out and sighed as she recognized the number and checked the text message from her ex. She was about to delete it then shrugged and opened it to see what he wanted to say.
'Susie, where are you? I've been waiting for about half an hour now.'
With a snarl, Susan hit the call button and held her mobile up to her ear.
"Do you think I'm some kind of joke?!" she shouted down the phone, startling the man on the other side of the phone "Do you think I am some sort of trash that perhaps could be used for something else for a few days then it's useless again so you have to throw it away?!"

"Hm? Oh yeah, I went to, uh…"
When he went silent Susan sniffed as she felt tears fill her eyes. She let out an upset sob and it made Rory ask if she was alright.
"W-Why is there another woman's lingerie on my bed?!" she shouted as she picked up a bra.
"What?! N-No, Susie, I wouldn't do anything like that to you!"
Susan hung up, not wanting to hear any more lies and tossed the phone aside, grabbing the knickers of the lingerie and chucking both pieces out of the window. She threw herself onto her bed but got up, nose wrinkled in disgust and brushed herself down. With a sniff, she threw off the covers and began changing them. Once she placed the covers in her washing tub to take down to the laundrette, her mobile vibrated. She sighed tiredly and picked it up, frowning when she failed to recognize the number. She shrugged and opened the text.
'Hey, Malcolm here from the park. I was thinking maybe we could go for some coffee one day? Hope to hear from you soon.'
There was a heart at the end of the text and Susan felt her spine shiver. She never gave Malcolm her mobile number…
