i am a shadow.
full of darkness,
full of misery.
i can always see you.
but you can never see me.
i watch what they do
i see what they do to you.
they tease you because your different.
because you have tan skin and light hair.
they beat you because you are thin.
they steal your food,
beat your sister,
take your money,
I could go on they're cruel people.
they make you lie,
lie about your limp,
lie about those bruises
and lie about that black eye.
i fell sympathy for you.
i truly do.
although you can't escape them.
their is one thing that i hate the most about them
they have the nerve,
they have the obesity,
to call themselves your parents.
you are not alone
others feel your pain
they have gone through the same thing
maybe less maybe more
that doesn't change the facts
I see the cuts on your face from your mother's nails
the bruises form your fathers hands
the limp from being pushed down the stairs
and loss of memory from being smashed into the wall
you want to tell, but you know the pain will get worse
to many nights you have spent wanting to run away
but you couldn't run fast enough to get away from the car
your limp gets worse every day
you fear for your life.
and now I will give you a solution
a solution to the pain
a solution to the fear
a solution to all problems you may ever have
and all problems you may never have
a freedom like no other
you'll be able to fly
be free from pain
and never be abused again
all you need is enough courage
enough courage to kill one fear
enough courage so you don't fear
enough courage so you don't far the reaper
the day you don't fear the reaper
if the day your pain will be lifted.
