. . .
Facade.
A mask so pretty is daunting engrossed,
her lips so plump she's ready to expose,
her lies are in a form of a decent smile,
and yet what she says explodes.
Ties are cut in endless strings,
she's laughing hysterically at the mess she's made;
yet there's one she cannot escape,
one she'll never control.
The man she loved has torn her mask apart,
exposed her feelings that shredded her heart,
a tear and a pleading beg has never stopped him from walking away.
Now she's fragile and easier to break,
ready to die but she forgot one thing,
he'll always be there to save her life; even when it'll never be the same.
