Okay, so I've just learnt about something about my life last night after my church's fellowship. Of course everything has yet to be confirmed, but still something popped up in my mind while I was bathing just now. Okay, make that a certain sequence of images. But still believe it or not, I was left crying while showering. The below work is the reason why.
I saw a boy birthed from the darkness of his mother's womb
He only saw darkness
I saw the boy grasping a shard of light amidst the darkness
He was still walking in the darkness
I saw that boy entering a sanctuary, he was pulled back into darkness
At last broken, the boy wept without surrounding by pity
He instantly saw a Hand offered, he swiftly grabbed that Hand
Pulled away from the darkness, darkness claimed him no longer more
A Sanctuary looking not so new, yet truly brand new
His whispering Balm healed the boy, the boy only kept crying
"Weep not, son of Mine. For I know you even before you're a babe.
"Your name has always been written in my Tome of Everlasting Life, fear not eternally."
But the boy still keeps on crying.
And I am still that boy…
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5
