Alright, this is a Villanelle for a story I am working on. It was supposed to be creepy and obsessive poetry. It's a love poem sorta. I would like to know if anyone things it is creepy enough or not. As I said it is for a story. Although it is a Villanelle I did not make it in iambic parameter. Stress unstressed drives me ballistic so you'll have to excuse me for that.

Today I'll cull and pull you from the herd

Multicolored bird of beauty Robin

You are now mine you lovely little bird

Don't do anything love nor say a word

Eternal Devotion for my chosen

Today I'll cull and pull you from the herd

The world out there loves to keep you tortured

I'll keep you safe and make sure you glisten

You are now mine you lovely little bird

I'll put you on a leash, keep you collared

Why don't you stay there prepare to listen

Today I'll cull and pull you from the herd

Happiness is now ours don't get flustered

Oh don't you see how the fun has begun?

You are now mine you lovely little bird

For today it seem you have been honored

You are the sun burning bright, a beacon
