Mother!

From my cradle I looked and saw her smiling face!

Her comforting arms I felt around my shoulders when

I cried my childish tears!

Her smile welcomed me home from my first day of school!

It was my mother who taught me right from wrong!

Through her guidance I learned to cook!

From her I will learn how to care for my own family!

From her I will learn how to care for my own children!

It is my mother who will help me through!

I thank God for the mother that He so graciously gave me!
