A Jew!

Who is this Man?

He asks if I will give Him water to drink!

And He a Jew!

I am but a Samaritan and He a Jew!

How can He ask me for water?

He tells me there is water that will give me life

And that I will never thirst again!

"This water, sir, please give me so I no longer have to

Come to this well to draw water!"

"Go get your husband." He says!

No husband do I have!

He tells me my story!

"You are surely a prophet! I know the Messiah is coming!"

He tells me that "I, the one speaking to you- am He."

Oh, what a mystery that a man would talk to me, a Samaritan,

And He a Jew!
