This is about us, how we feel

A chance to say and speak the truth

People think bad thoughts about us youths

We are constantly misunderstood

Trying to say something but never heard

Makes us feel the only way we can be seen

Is by committing crimes, upsetting our society

Disrespectful and lazy are common names we are called

But they don't care whether it hurts us or not

We want to be the best people we can

But when we try we keep getting pulled down

If they gives us some courage, support and respect

Maybe we'll be happy and be ourselves again

We are disguised as people we are not

If we work together

Together we can take our masks off.
