Bizarre, laree, the smell leering through
Objects of gold, silver and the odd thing new
You go to observe, to deter a mind's dawdle
Fake watches, matches, such unending hue
The advertisers call, the cheap-cooked food
Spices galore
Devices a-shored
Prices for sure
This suffices
Slithering through the heat lies the market thief
His air of authority over every stall
No one dare accuse
For he alone knows how to use
Every market rule in the book
Enjoy your gold and silver
But watch your pockets
He loves all those valuable lockets.
Does he live in you?
