Lyra honestly felt like beating the shit out of someone. Not just anyone, but a very specific someone. While the werewolf wasn't a violent person, in either her life or her life after death other than an occasion hungry outburst, she had never felt more sure and ready to beat the snot out of a person. There was no remorse in the feeling or guilt as there usually was, like when she had eaten Liv twice, just pure commitment to the act that would give her gratification and possibly relief.

And all this unusual violent thoughts, plans and nature? The one person that she wanted to focus it on was the one person that the cause of it all. Lyra had never hated someone so thoroughly or so much. She had never really hated to begin with! Looking at her friendship with Seven, the boy that had killed her when he ate her face, was enough proof of that. This was completely foreign to her, and as much as she detested it there was no denying it. And there was certainly no avoiding it. It festered inside of her, and she was sure at any moment she could snap. Considering how she had devoured Liv when she had snapped on the woman there was no telling what she might do this time.

Tooth cuddle even more into her embrace- if that was even possible- and Lyra sighed as he snuggled his head into her neck. At least he had adjusted his position so his big black afro wasn't tickling her anymore, but this was getting ridiculous! She couldn't move without him clinging to her and looking at her with wide pitiful eyes. It was like every twitch of a muscle he thought she was going to abandon him, and she hadn't even properly subjugated him!

Lyra's glare turned once more on the being that was the true fault of all of this, Cerb. The dog hadn't stopped making eyes at her since he first pulled her tail. The lust in his leer was undisguised and let her know that he had been thinking many lewd thoughts. He'd even gone so far as to try to dispose Tooth of his spot next to her, and when was forced to give it up, told the man it was only a matter of time before the werewolf turned her attention to someone more "compatible" sexually with her. That was when Tooth became the clingy, whimpering attachment he was now.

The statement had only increased her anger at the boy, and now she was sure that there was little to nothing he could do to make her hate him more. With every simpering smile she wanted to pummel the boy more and more. She couldn't dislodge Tooth without him thinking she was rejecting him, so she had no personal space and it was all his fault. Worse was that he knew it and continued to antagonize the poor black former cop.

Don pulled into a gas station to fuel up, It was the dead of night and nearly everyone was asleep. Don and Sica were quietly conversing from the front of the bus, while Cerb made eyes at her and Tooth clung to her. Lyra knew the man needed to sleep, but he was fighting it as long as Cerb was awake. He was too scared of what might happen to his love while he slept.

When Cerb licked his lips and made a kissy face at her it was all Lyra could take. With a snarl she launched forward flinging Tooth to the side. He fell atop the moon vampire trio waking them forcefully. Lyra grabbed Cerb by the face, and dragged him from his place. She unlatched the doors, and threw Cerb out of the bus through them sending them flying open. Lyra climbed out after the boy intent on killing him without a care for who might see her. It was the dead of night and anyone would shuff anything they might see off.

Lyra was stopped short as a beautiful man stood over Cerb that was trying to get up off the pavement. Lyra snarled at the man, but stayed where she was a few feet from the bus.

Don stepped around the bus as he saw his mate's wide-eyed look, and stood dumbfounded. How was he here?

"Looks like I'm just in time!" the man called out pleasantly, and Lyra snarled at him once more. "You didn't really think I'd let you kill one of my minions did you?"

"Who said I was going to kill him? I was just going to make sure he couldn't follow, and leave him for you to retrieve." Lyra growled out as she watched the man carefully.

Despite the man's lovely appearance, and soothing voice he was not someone to be trifled with, and Lyra knew that. Any who looked at the man could fall in love, and want to follow him to the end of the earth and time. It was just part of who he used to be. Angelic and perfection walking only hide the true nature of what he was now.

"I know as well as you do that you are lying my dear!" the man smiled at her softly, and Lyra had to force herself not to back down. When he smiled like that he was something else. He wasn't the angel he used to be or the devil he was now, but this fearful mix in between that was full of dangerous and painful potential.

"At least let me give him a few punches for the way he's been disrupting my life."

"Lyra?" The question came from Tooth, and a quick glance told Lyra that everyone had been woken, and climbed out of the bus to watch what was going on. They had surely been expecting a bloody show, but now were watching a stand off.

"Tooth," Lyra began so he would fully understand what was happening, "Meet Lucifer."

The Devil smiled and waved to the man, and Tooth backed up. Lyra snarled again, and brought the Devil's attention back to her once more. The Devil sighed, and looked down on the dog that was watching him. "I realize that it was my mistake to send him to be your watchdog. I didn't think he would act so... uncharacteristically. Even so it is my oversight, and therefore my fault. If anyone takes a hit it should be me, not my underling that was only following my orders."

Lyra knew that meant no. "So then what will you be doing to rectify this?" she seethed at him. How dare he take away her punching back when he so deserved it?

The Devil seemed to consider this for a moment before a pleasant smile graced his beautifully handsome features. "I will open Hell to you once more so long as you promise to leave my penis be. You can return whenever you want."

Lyra utterly deflated at that. All of the fight went out of her stance and she stared at the man before her completely shocked. She could go back to Hell? She could leave Earth, and the hunger, but then that would mean leaving her friends and Tooth.

"Couldn't you just take my hunger away?" Lyra asked almost absent mindedly.

The Devil shrugged, "No, it is part of you and I don't have the power to so that. Not even "God" does. Besides it should me more containable now, and have a new target."

Lyra glanced to Wings, and knew that it wasn't just in her head that the woman smelled so divine. But still feasting on an angel, especially once that was tortured by her maker to possible never be free of the sadistic bastard, didn't make her feel any better. She didn't want to eat Wings, or anyone for that matter. She didn't want to leave Earth either.

"Well think about it!" the Devil cried, and then he, and Cerb, were gone.

Lyra grumbled under her breath, but at least was happy to be rid of the troublesome dog. She turned back to the bus. Sica was washing the windows, and Don had gone back to fueling the bus. The remainder were watching her with interest.

"What?" she demanded, "Come one people, we don't have much time to lollygag around if we are going to make it to Comic con in time!" Then she pushed her way through the crowd, and climbed into the bus. She wanted to sleep.

The others eventually followed suit, and were soon settled. Don and Sica joined them, and as the last door closed there was a loud moo followed by the collective moans and groans. It looked like Lyra wasn't going to be sleeping any time soon as the popped into space on the Giant Naked Mole Rat.

"I thought this fucking insanity was over!" she cried in near desperation, "We fixed the god-damned fucking moose!"

Sica glance back to her, and then to her mate. "You had to fix the cosmic moose, and you didn't blow everyone up?"

Don glowered at his mate, but it was Ann that answer, "Lyra, my bitch, got Janus's penis!"

Sica cracked up as Don straightened back up. "I'm not fucking getting out of this fucking bus." Sica made baby faces at him as she continued to laugh.

Lyra was the first out of the bus, intent on getting this over with. Looking around she was left confused. There was nothing around them as far as she could see. There were no building or people or aliens or anything. It was just the gray pink skin of the mole rat endlessly stretching to meet the sky above. They were the only thing around.

"What the fuck?" Lyra screamed at the sky, and it seemed to quiver with that.

Suddenly something began to fall from the sky. Lyra caught one, and realized it was somethings. They were frogs; frogs that seemed to be covered in or made up of blue cheese. She squeezed it, feeling satisfied with the way it burst from the pressure, and found that it was made entirely of blue cheese. Lyra released the destroyed frog she held, and watched as the others hopped away from her while making strangled ribbits. Was it hard to ribbit when your voice box was made of blue cheese?

Lyra realized that the frogs weren't hopping away from her, but from everyone. They were piling up on each other, and squirming like they had a specific place they needed to be in that pile.

Looking at the seething mass of blue cheese frogs, Lyra wanted to burn them all. Maybe she could use the blender on them but that would be messy. That made her wonder where they might go if they blended one of the frogs, and snatched up one in each hand as they hopped by her. She stuffed them in a purse she had taken to carrying to beat off Cerb if necessary. Then she zipped it up tight, and tossed it in the bus under the seats.

Turning back to the growing pile she noted it was taking a bit more of a shape than before. It looked almost as if the frogs were gathering to make a giant blue cheese frog- how unoriginal. With a frown she sat on the buss floor, legs dangling out, and waited for it to finish forming.

"Now I have blue cheese in my hair and wings! This smell will never come out!" the angel huffed out as she fluttered her wings in an attempt to dislodge another fallen amphibian from them.

Lyra's attention focused on the angel, and she sniffed the air at her words. She was assaulted with the mouth-watering good smell that was only accented by the scent of the blue cheese. Lyra licked her lips as she eyed the woman, and before she could stop herself words were slipping out of her mouth, "I don't see how that's so bad."

When Wings turned slowly to look at her did she realize what she said. Lyra's eyes shot open in surprise, and the hunger was gone. She held up her hands ready to apologize even as the angel looked ready to chew her out.

Neither got the chance however, as there was a loud thud. Looking back at the now monstrous sized frog made of little frogs, they saw it had lifted a leg and slammed it down just as it was preparing to do again. The foot thudded down, and all eye were on the massive blue cheese frog.

"What are you doing here?" the frog demanded.

The group looked at it stunned. Each was waiting for another in the group to answer the frog. It quickly became apparent that no one knew why they were there, and began casting glances to each other.

"Well?"

Lyra stood with a huff, and stepped toward the frog of many. "We don't know," she called up to the thing.

The frog cocked its head and looked down on her with what she was sure was an unseeing eye. Lyra held the gaze regardless, and stared up at the frog with arms crossed over her chest, under the top set of her boobs.

"The only reason anyone comes here is because there is a great upset in the dynamic of their lives. Things must be evened out and balanced if there is to be any hope of anything other than misery and death." The frog intoned as it continued to look down on Lyra.

"Well, that's certainly uplifting! but that still isn't saying much really." Lyra spat back. "Everyone's life is an imbalance or there would be no surprises in the world. Everything would be normal and bland, and everyone would be bored."

"True," the frog replied back slowly, "and very insightful, but that doesn't change that you and the others are here before me."

Lyra growled, but asked, "So is it an individual, a few of us, or the whole damned group?"

The frog chuckled at her impatience as it looked over the group. "I cannot say for I do not know."

"So, are we stuck here until we figure it out?" Lyra asked with her anger creeping up her spine and uncoiling in her brain.

The frog only chuckled again at her, and didn't answer. Lyra spun to look over the group. It could be Tooth and his crazy clinginess. It could be Seven and his discontent and struggle to accept the new Potter and her role in his life. It could Ann and her turmoil of whether to stay or go when the angel and human shifter went. It could he here even with the anger that was raging through her unchecked. It could be any of them, and with all the shit that had been happening and going on there was really no way to tell for sure.

"Say we figure that out," she asked to the frog as she scanned the faces before her, "what then? Do you do some special mojo to fix it, or just give advice or what?"

"It isn't something that I can fix."

"When why the hell are we here then?" Lyra exploded.

"Because someone needs to be. I may not be able to magically fix it, and it would defeat the purpose, but the knowledge of knowing there is wrong and wanting to fix it may be enough. However it could be that that alone will crush the person or group and their hope leaving nothing but shattered minds in the wake. I am not to know that. I am only here as a witness."

Lyra let out a shriek, and then stormed to the bus. She got in and slammed the doors behind her. She didn't care where they were anymore she seriously needed some sleep!
