When I was young they would say I was brave. As I grew older they said I was brave. Now they say I am brave.
I thought it strange that what they call brave
Is something I just had to handle.
I thought it peculiar that what they call brave
Is something that I have dealt with for years.
I find it untrue
Because I find being alone quite scary.
