The Unseen Beast

This monster can lift you up with the smallest touch

Yet destroy you with mere words

Oddly, it is wanted so much

While a few some forbid it to enter

The beast remains unseen

Many wonder, if it is good or bad?

I, however, fear it; this I wean

Sadly it will never die

It is confusing, unpredictable, strikes when you least expect

This, I promise is no lie

What is this unknown creature you ask?

It is and I fear it

To me it is no more than a killer monster, doing its task

I have felt its bitter bite before

And I live in fear from the scars it left
