clip my wings.
cover me up.
hide me away
from the world.
let me escape,
but drag me back,
knowing I won't make it far.
this is all there is.
what else can there be?
I've had enough
of this.
leave me be.
let me free.
I want to get away.
I'm just not sure to where,
but I don't want you to guide me.
it will do me no good
and only bring me back to the beginning,
starting over
again.
