suffocating.
my mind won't shut up.
the room continues to close in.
I'm drowning in my thoughts.
I need an escape,
but sleep won't come.
dreaming while awake.
my thoughts still haunting
and taunting
me.
quiet.

finally
sleep comes.
but freedom still
escapes me.
