Allo! I have a new chapter story. I'm actually gonna turn this into a novel when i grow older. But for now i present it to you.
Please don't take any of my ideas without asking.
Also if you see any mistakes please tell me. And maybe help me up.
Enjoy!
Voris was a boarding school for many children ages 12 to 18. The main reason people were signed up was because they had parents who either didn't want them around, thought they needed discipline, didn't think public school or private schools around there area were safe. or they were orphans. Maybe even for some other reason.
The school was a little big. It was in an enclosed area surrounded by trees. There was a path that led to a city right on the outskirts of the school. It had 3 floors. The first floor was where the main hall was, to the right of it was the cafeteria and to the left was the corridor that was in an "U" shape. There were a total of 24 classrooms, 4 for each age. There was a hallway that also led to the meeting room for the teachers only.
As soon as you went up the spiral stairs to the second floor the beautiful large balcony stood overlooking the lake. Children usually went there in the morning to watch the sunrise or relax before classes. To the right lay the girl dorms and to left lay the boy dorms. Each dorm was kind of small and had two bunk beds that were built into the wall. There were also two desks and a 3 foot round toped window in each room. A mirror hung in the middle of the desks.
There were two small showers in each room for each person. The showers were side to side and had been separated by long pieces of wood so the students couldn't see each other. Inside was a drain so the water wouldn't get everywhere. There was also a little changing room inside.
On the side if the stairs to the second floor was a hallway that led to the library and the bathrooms.
At the very top, the third floor, was where the headmistress's room and office was. Since she was the boss of the school her room was the biggest of them all. She was not very liked by the students at all. Her name was Ridina Clarisse Marin. She was an ugly old woman with gray hairs as far as the eye can see. Her skin was almost the color of a metal chain fence and it was very wrinkly. Her eyes were dark brown but sometimes when she yelled students swore her eyes turned red. She had a large wort of her right cheek. She also wore small glasses that took a huge role in her eyesight. When she walked around she usually had her orange and black snake around her.
Ridina was on her way to welcome four new students. The four stood in the main hall waiting.
"So... You are the four disasters that were recently assigned." Ridina stated as she entered the main hall. The girls looked up at her in shock.
"I am Ridina Clarisse Marin or Headmistress Ridina for short. What are your names?" she asked while stroking her slithering pet.
"M-My names…Sh-Sh-Shy." A girl, with chestnut brown hair that went down to the small of her back, said shyly. Her voice was very soft and soothing it could easly calm a person down. She had two pieces of her hair come in the front of her shoulders they had little elastic on the bottoms of them. She wore big round glasses and had blue eyes. Her eyelashes were a medium length. Her skin was a light tan color. She was at a height of 5' 4".
"My names Mya!" a perky girl chimed. Her voice was high pitched and very happy sounding. Her lavender hair was in two pigtails that hovered above her shoulders. Her eyes were a light black. Just like Shy her eyelashes were medium length. She a had a red bow on the right side of her head. Her skin was peach color. She was the same height as Shy.
"My names Kinni" a rather tall girl answered as she held one arm. Her voice was full of confidence. Her hair matched the color of honey, it was a little longer then Shy's and was in one big braid. Her eyes were a mixture of yellow and green. She had rather long eyelashes that gave her a more adult look. She had a headband on that was 2 inches wide. Her skin was a little darker than Mya's. She was about 5' 6".
"I'm Raven" a rather boyish girl spoke. She had a voice that would mistake her for a boy. Her hair was dark green, it looked kind of liked a porcupine at the front and sides but as it went back it smoothed out and stopped a little past her shoulders. Her hair also covered part of her left eye. She had many little scars on her face. Her eyes were green and eyelashes were long just like Kinni's. She had light brown skin that was a little scratched up. Her height was about 5' 5".
The girls all wore the Voris's school uniforms for girls. It consisted of a black medium sleeved shirt. Over it was a white short sleeved sweater vest that buttoned up. For a bottom the girls had to wear a black skirt. They wore brown shoes the buckled like a belt and they looked like sneakers on the bottom. They also wore socks that were a little baggy and stopped at their knees.
The Headmistress just nodded her head "Well your names are all uninteresting. Now here in Voris we have strict rules. I'm sure you read all about them in your handbooks. Students aren't allowed to have pets! No loud noises after 9! All students must be in their dorms by 8:30. Once the bell is summoned at night all student must stay in their dorms. And those are just the basics."
As Ridina led the four up to their rooms, she went on about the strict rules of the school. No running in the halls. No singing. Now keeping food in your dorm. Always do as you're told. No complaining.
The girls just pretended to listen. They looked around and admired the beautiful wood that made up the walls. Headmistress walked down the hall of the girl dorms. She stopped in between two doors.
"Since you are new! I will let you pick the rooms you want. You have 5 seconds"
Mya tilted her head "Does it really matter whi-"
"5!" The Headmistress started counting down.
Raven and Mya took the room to the right of Ridina, and Kinni and Shy took the room to her left.
"That took way to long for my liking. But what am I to expect of you children." She stepped forward and turned to them "Since you've just arrived I will let you have the day off but TOMORROW is when you start. I will arrive early tomorrow at 9 o'clock to give you your schedules. You better be up and ready! Oh and you will not be able to eat lunch with the others today." The old woman ordered as she walked off.
The girl just looked at eachother. There was an awkward silence for a while. Then they all entered their rooms.
Raven looked around the room. It wasn't that spacious but she didn't complain. She saw two chest in the corner. Choosing one she put her bag inside and closed it. After she climbed up to the top bunk and sat down.
Mya also put her stuff away in the other chest. She thought the room looked very nice. It was good that Raven wanted the top bunk since Mya was deathly afraid of heights. She looked at Raven and admired her for a few seconds.
Meanwhile across the way Kinni and Shy were also getting comfortable. They had already put their stuff away. Kinni was looking in the mirror fixing her braid. Shy sat at her desk putting her pencils and notebooks away.
"Wow. You really came here prepared huh." Kinni stated as she looked at all the supplies Shy had.
"Well…Yeah. My mom said I should always be prepared for class"
"True. As I said before my names Kinni. And yours is…Shy right?"
The quiet girl just nodded.
"Your name really suits you. You don't have to be so shy though. How old are you by the way?"
"14…you?"
"I'm also 14." Kinni didn't find it surprising that they were the same age. After all why would Headmistress Ridina put them in the same room if they were different ages. She continued making small talk with Shy so they could get comfortable with each other.
"Oh my gosh! We get our own showers! What a relief!" a rather hyper Mya yelled from inside the shower room.
Raven just sighed and shook her head. She sat on the ledge of window with one leg up and the other hanging inside. Mya walked out of the shower room and went to her chest. She took out a big teddy bear and placed it on her bed.
"Seriously…how old are you? 8?" Raven asked.
Mya looked at her angrily and placed her hand on her hips "No, I'm 14! Why how old are you?"
"Same. What kind of 14 year old brings a teddy bear to a boarding school?"
"Me. My big brother gave that teddy bear to me right after my mom died."
Raven just rolled her eyes. Deep inside she wished she had something to remember her family members. Mya stepped closer to the loner and tilted her head "Don't you have something to remember your family?"
"I don't want to talk about my family ok?" Raven replied a little meanly. Mya understood though, she must had troubles with her family.
Mya thought it would be good to not bother Raven, but on the other hand she wanted to make new friends here. She sat at her bunk and kept coming up with different topics to chat about.
As the sun went down the girls all relaxed. They heard the loud bonging of the school church like bell. All the students of Voris were in there dorms by now as the bell bonged for the last time. The four got in their night clothes and went to bed.
The next day was when their lives at Voris began. They were in for quiet an adventure in their new school.
