Hopeless, I'm falling.
Lost, I'm wandering.
Forgotten, I'm sobbing.

But then a heavy rain
begins to pour down from the Heavens.
And I look up to see
that the sun is still shining,
the skies are still blue.
Yet the rain is still falling,
still I am falling.

Then I remember what my mother
once told me:
"Wherever you are, whatever you do,
Just know that our God
is right there with you."

And I began to laugh.
Even though my heart swelled,
the tears and rain still pounded.
But I didn't mind so much anymore.
