He was standing on a rusty piece of iron, what was a part of the bridge. Under him, the dark, sparkling and notorious waves fought with each other in the pale moonlight, while the wind has strenghtened.
The others described him with abusive and rude nicknames, such as 'emo', 'poser', 'attention seeker' and 'worthless'. He wasn't 'emo', just because he had straight black hair. He wasn't a poser, because he only wore black clothes. He wasn't an attention seeker, because he had breakdowns at school. None of them was true. Not for him. Especially not the term 'worthless'. He has more worth, than the whole school in sum, but no one knew it. Even he didn't know it.
Suddenly, he heard a noise. It was weird, because the time was around midnight, no one used to cross the bridge at the time. The people were at their families, at home, usually. He only left a note back at home, that he will not return.
"Excuse me, but what are you doing?" An interesting voice of a girl asked.
"I'm going to jump."
"Because I'm worthless and everybody hates me. They hate me, because they think I'm an emo and they always say I deserve to die."
"Why do they think you're an emo? There must be some reason. Tell me."
"When I started high school, I dyed my hair black, and I started to wear dark clothes. I had a big, big pressure and I started cutting myself. Some girl saw my scars, and the whole school was laughing at me.
It was really awful. And I don't want to feel that way again."
"That's really sad. But let me tell my story. It started when I was 2. I lost my 7-year-old sister in a car accident. When I was 5, I lost my twin. When I was 7, I lost both my grandparents. Until this time, I only have two living relatives: my mom and my dad. I don't have any uncles, aunts or cousins anymore. They died in different accidents and diseases. Sometimes I think it's just because of me."
"But you have your mom and dad. I live with my uncle."
"Not for long. My mom is dying from cancer, so as I did, but I'm cancer-free now. My dad had a work accident, he's in coma. I went to see my mom at this evening, I came from the hospital. Ridiculous, she's in the same room where I was when I had cancer. I didn't want to die, after all the sacrifices I did, and the family members I lost. I can't even cry anymore, so much bad happened to me. But it's my family,
not my own life, and I know, they want me to fight, and be alive. And for God's sake, I want to be alive! I always wanted to be alive! And if my mom and my dad doesn't make it through, one day I'll have my family, and they will be safe. They will be safe, I know." She cried and screamed at the end. "So, what's your story?"
They heard a car coming. They saw the lights. He heard the scream. And he heard the crash. There was blood everywhere. The girl, who wanted to live, died. The car came so fast, the driver couldn't stop the car immediately, the car went across the whole bridge.
"I know that car. That's my uncle." The boy, with so much sorrow said.
"Hey! Don't worry, I'm coming for you!" His uncle was running and screaming, scared. He just killed someone, and his nephew wants to commit suicide.
"Stay wherever you are, uncle. I need to tell her my story."
He lost in between the waves. A few minutes later, the lake has calmed down. The lake's waves reconciled. The surface of the water was like a mirror's reaction. Seemed like it was the sky. But under the water, a hopeless young soul swum lifeless, and now he can tell his story to the girl on the other side.
