Only A Little!

I watch as the rich prance up and offer great treasures,

And think of only how little I have to give!

Jewels and gold, have I none, but a farthing I have!

All I have is but a farthing, the rich have much,

Which would be more pleasing to God?

I have so little, but I'll put it in anyway!

In my heart I feel alive and at peace,

Even though I only put in a little!

I watch as the rich walk away looking unsatisfied!

I have put in only a little and am satisfied!
