Three months have passed since that day. I didn't end up living with the Gaither family, and with what I know now of Hadrian Gaither, I don't really want to. Jimmy understood, and we are even dating right now. His Mom was for both of us when we told her two months ago as did my new foster family who I have been living with for a solid three months straight.

I really like this family. They're called the Temples and they seem to be genuinely nice. I think this might even be a permanent home for me. I even have a foster brother, he's ten years old and called Billy. I love him to death. The Temples even let Jimmy and Mom stay when Jimmy and I agreed to testify against his father.

Hadrian Gaither and his partner were accused of breaking and entering into a home, theft, and first degree murder. With Jimmy and mine's testaments', they were found guilty of all charges and sentenced to life in prison.

We all have a life story, some are better than others, some happier than others. Mine is particularly depressing, and in the past I would always wish that a lot of it didn't happen. And while I still wish that certain aspects of my life were different, I wouldn't trade where I am now for anything. I have a family that truly cares for me for the first time in really long time, I am dating my best friend, my parents killers are in jail forever, and I am finally happy with my life.
