That night we got dressed in our finest clothes and got all dolled up. Lisa was wearing her seaweed green, long dress with her black plaid heels. She had her long red hair curled and did her make-up simply, with natural colors that compliments her deep brown eyes.
Moon was wearing a very simple black sparkly mini-dress which shows off her curves and she paired that dress with a pair of ruby red stiletto's. Her pixie blonde hair was straightened and her make-up was midnight colors which makes her blue eyes pop.
I was wearing my aqua blue ruffled short dress which goes great with my cheetah print stilettos. My shoulder length brown hair was pinned up and my make-up was very natural with just a hint of sparkly white color to my green eyes.
After we got all dolled up, we looked at each other to make sure nothing was missing.
"I don't know if I can do this."
"Analise you can! You can sneak out, plus you look good and Riley will think so too. Trust me."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive." So we open the door...
and are caught already. Right in front of our door was a sailor man who was checking the rooms already. "Where are you ladies going this late?"
"Oh no sir! We were... um... just trying on our finest clothes and modeling them to see how good we looked."
"Well, then on that note, have a nice night."
"That was a relief."
" Ya and nice cover Moon."
"Thanks, but we need to get going it is almost eight."
"Well what are we waiting for, lets go." And with that, we walked out of Lisa's room and started on our way down the hall, a few turns and we are there. When we walked through the door there were all sorts of dancing going on. There were slow dancing, fast dancing and fun dancing. The music was loud and booming. I'm surprised that no one near complained about how loud they were. Out of the dancing crowd, Riley appeared and was walking toward us.
"Hey I'm glad you ladies could come. Hi Analise"
"Hi um this is a great party."
" Yeah well my friend is having one in his room too across the hall."
"So uh make yourselves a home: dance, drink, whatever."
"Okay thank you."
" Oh my gosh Analise."
"Riley was totally checking you out."
"Oh Lisa I don't think he was."
"He totally wasn't."
"Whatever you say Analise."
"I'm going to get some air be right back."
"Okay then well Analise be careful for the sailor men."
" I will." As I was leaving the wild and hectic party, I noticed that a shadow was following me. I didn't look back to see who it was because what if it was a sailor man?
As I reach the bow, I look out to the stars and notice that the shadow following me was none other than Riley. " So what ya doing out here?"
"Well why do you want to know?"
" Just curious."
"Well I don't know exactly." As Riley started talking about how he planned his party, I just was in love with stars. How they glowed ever so slightly beautiful. How their beauty shines all over the universe. I started thinking if there was somebody out there somewhere doing the exact thing I'm doing.
"What's that glowing?"
" What glowing? I don't see anything." That worried me. As I was admiring the stars, I started to see a gold shimmer flowing down to me and how come Riley couldn't see it.
I needed to leave.
"I need to go."
"What? Wait! Analise is everything okay?"
Before I could finish my sentence, my blue dress was on the floor, my heels were no where found and, out of the corner of my eye, I didn't see my legs.
Instead, I see what looks like a deep navy blue tail coming from my body.
