Eulogy of a Traitor: Alone

Did you notice me, as I thought you did?

Did you love me, as I wondered so long ago?

Did you feel the tug I did as you gazed into my eyes?

Now I stand alone

Where do I belong in this cold world?

Why did I wander between borders for a pack that never cared?

Will they say I died a hero?

Was it worth it, saving the she-wolf from the alpha I once obeyed?

You love her Aki, she gave you something I never could

She gave me something to believe in when I thought she took it away

Where I belong never mattered to me the day you ran up to me

And I felt like you loved me too

Did you hate me as I died?
