There was a lot of white noise, moving all around her. She couldn't see who was making the noise, or what or why or how. But she could hear it. She wanted to see it. She wanted to know what was going on. Because nothing was making any sense. One minute she was in a car, happy and laughing; the next well… well she didn't know. She didn't know where she was; or who she was with.

There was a distinct beeping noise, that much she knew was true. She could hear it above all the other murmurings around her. Maybe because it was the only thing constantly happening around her. She couldn't make out the voices but she knew there were people. She knew there were people talking, maybe even arguing around her. She wanted to tell them to be quiet, but she just couldn't. She tried to move her lips, she willed herself to make a noise but no words would come out. She wanted to talk but nothing she did seemed to work, so she blocked the noise out and let herself fall back into the darkness.

The next time she was half awake she still couldn't talk or open her eyes. But now she could make out the words being said around her. She could feel the pressure on her hand; someone holding it tightly.

"Come on Boo, open your eyes." She knew that voice anywhere. "I'm sorry I wasn't there Boo, I'm so sorry but I need you to wake up. I'm here now; I'm not going to go anywhere I promise. You promised you wouldn't leave me; you always keep your promises. Wake up Boo, because I'm selfish and I need you." His voice was so pained, like he was crying or something.

But that couldn't be right; he never cried. He wouldn't do that, especially not in front of her. She pushed as hard as she could to open her eyes, but it wouldn't work. She kept trying, and she listened intently to the sound of his voice, hoping it would somehow help. It didn't. She wanted to reach out and tell him everything would be okay. She wanted to tell him she was okay and that nothing mattered as long as he didn't leave her. She wanted to hold onto his hand as tightly as he held to hers. But it wasn't that easy. She still didn't know where she was, or how she got here. He knew. She would have to ask him as soon as she could. As soon as she learnt how to make her voice work again and open her eyes. Someone would have all the answers to her questions. Someone would be able to tell her what exactly had happened and why she was wherever she was.

I could tell you where she is now, but that would probably leave you asking even more questions than before. But I will tell you… eventually. I just have to start at the beginning.

So how do the best stories start hmm?

Well… Once upon a time.

Only joking, this isn't some silly old fairytale; but it is a bit of a cliché.

So, here goes.

It all started the day she was born…

A/N - Please review because they mean the world to me. This is just an idea I've had floating around my head for a little while so I thought I would try it out. I'm going to update some time during the week.

Love always… Justjessx1x
