Words are useless to us
they serve no purpose
For nothing can replace the boundaries broken
or bring back the beautiful love that we've lost
The silence is excruciating
like a thousand tiny razor blades
The silence is desperate
like all of the time we have left
together
are the precious seconds that we've just thrown
carelessly over our shoulders
like they were nothing at all
