on the clock
time is running out
slipping through my finger tips
that I'll finish on time I doubt
because the monster is greedy and stout
with sharp and pointed teeth
grinning from ear to ear
all ways staying near
feeding off my fear
will I finish my homework on time
or will I suffer a bad grade
for I know it must not be late
or unkind will be my fate...
