Aiden slips the key into his pocket as he steps into the office. Grabbing his MAG light, he clicks it on, and explores the room. He finds two long desks on either side of the room a computer covered in dust adorning each. Aiden walks in and scans around looking for anything useful. On the far wall he notices a Med-Kit, and pops it open. Inside he finds an assortment of bandages, gauze, disinfectant, and other supplies.

Closing it he takes it off the wall and does one final sweep, but finds nothing as he inspects the drawers and cabinets.

"You know, Natalie I know you don't exactly feel comfortable with Xavier out there so if we need to crash we can use this room." Aiden says as he steps out and shuts the door behind him." He did give me the key after all. Hate to say it, but I swear I keep feeling like this is a level out of a video game. You got the Office Key! You found a Med-Kit! Press start to open your inventory, and use the Med-Kit."

"Thanks for the tutorial Game Master," Natalie giggles. "Did you figure that out by yourself, or do you happen to have a strategy guide?"

Aiden laughs and walks back to the fire. Bear continues to run around and chase insects. Now playing with them instead of eating them. Jeremiah watching him run with a stupid grin on his face. Aiden moves some of his clothing from his satchel to his backpack in order to make room for the Med-Kit. Placing it inside he swings his satchel over his shoulder, and walks over to Jeremiah.

"Hey, not to interrupt or anything, but a few questions. One, where exactly is this gas station, and two what do I use to carry it? I don't exactly have a gas tank with me."

Jeremiah slouches, and turns his head to look up at Aiden.

"How the fuck should I know? I'm not the one with the map. As for the gas tank why not check out back? The door is right there. I think there's a few lying out there or something."

Jeremiah twitches a bit and begins rummaging around in his pockets. Patting all over, he reaches into his shirt pocket and pulls out a tattered piece of paper.

"Ah yes, here we are. A map of the immediate area," Xavier speaks as he waves the map. "We found this trapped in some rubble while searching around one day. Good thing I decided to hold on to it. This is how we knew of a gas station out there somewhere. I'm sure you need it more than I do."

Xavier hands Aiden the map, and his face twists slightly signaling Jeremiah resuming his show. Aiden opens the map and his eyes pour over it. It is not a very detailed map and only shows the Lo-Sav and the gas station on the map. Everything else has been scribbled on. Strange doodles, and illegible notes cover the areas not circled. Those circled being the gas station and Lo-Sav.

"Any other day I'd love to find out what the hell is written all over this," Aiden muses as his watches' alarm goes off. He turns it off and checks the time. "Shit, 4pm? Judging by this map it's at least a half-hour walk to the gas station. An hour if you include the return trip. Add on if we get gas and other supplies too and it could be longer."

Aiden rests a hand on his forehead, and sighs.

"We've gotta go now if we don't wanna risk not making it back by sun down. Jeremiah, you mind watching Bear? I'm probably gonna be weighed down and if I won't be able to protect him let alone myself."

Jeremiah keeps watching Bear and a scornful look crosses his face. He flicks his hand twice in Aiden's direction as if to shoo him away. Aiden turns his head and rolls his eyes softly. He grips the strap of the satchel and jogs over to the door. Covering his eyes with his hand he pushes the door open. He flinches as the door clicks expecting an alarm to go off. Luckily, not a sound goes off, but the room floods with sunlight.

"Shut the fucking door!" Jeremiah yells. "You're gonna blind me, shit."

Aiden turns and quickly shuts the door. In a slight panic he slams the handle down and is relieved to hear it click and show little resistance as he pushes against the door. Pulling it closed once again he looks around the back area. Another empty parking lot, sand blown haphazardly over the parking spaces. To his right he is surprised to find that Jeremiah was in fact not lying. To his right he sees a large container filled to the brim with plastic, pink, gas tanks.

Aiden walks over and starts tossing a few aside that have been warped by the sun. Finding a red one near the bottom he reaches in and pulls it out. Looking around he notices an old banner wedged behind the container. Stripping off a piece he makes a make-shift strap and swings the tank over his shoulder. Pulling out the map, studying it and determining his path, he sets off on his latest adventure.

Keeping a steady pace he walks through the sand towards his destination. Neither Aiden or Natalie speak as he walks. Roughly twenty minutes later he can see the outline of a building that appears to be a gas station.

"Well I'll be. Looks like Xavier wasn't bullshitting us. Told you he wasn't that bad, Natalie. Sometimes you just gotta give people the benefit of the doubt."

"That may be Aiden, but I am not as trusting as you are. You and your father are the only real interaction I've had my whole life," Natalie says quietly. "What I know I've learned from television or books. Such as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, hence my distrust of that man, or men for that matter. I suppose I'm a bit naive though so I jumped to conclusions."

"No worries, Natalie. We all make mistakes, and I don't trust him completely either, but so far they've been kind for the most part. This map was a huge help even though it looks like a five-year old got a hold of it."

Aiden picks up speed and runs as the gas station comes closer into view. He stops below the sign and catches his breath.

"Skeleton Station." Aiden mouths. "Well shit, A for effort on that name. Just hope this damn place isn't as run down as Lo-Sav. If we can't find any gas then we're gonna be stuck here."

Jogging to the pumps he inspects them. Most of them are broken, some even with Out Of Order signs plastered on and faded. As he nears the last of the them a soft flash goes off. Aiden's eyes dart to it and he notices it came from one of the machines. Walking over, and checking the display he is surprised to find it functioning.

"Fuck yes," Aiden says punching the air. "Let's just hope I can get this thing pumping. Maybe we'll get luck and we'll find some jerky in the store."

Laying the gas tank down, he walks to the door of Skeleton Station, places his hand on the glass, and looks inside. Most of the store is in disarray and ransacked, but he can see items lining the shelves, and a register on the counter. Pulling the door open he walks inside as chimes above the door signal his arrival.
