I brought myself
back from the edge
of that rocky cliff
in my head

I didn't jump
shouldn't have gone
towards the edge
where I now stand

The sky gave way
the sea crashing below
where my dreams have gone
died and drowned

I looked down
and saw an abyss
this place in my head
I won't miss it

I saved myself
no one saved me
I did not expect it
but I could go back

If there was a chance
I would simply fall
into the darkness
that's cursed me bad

In my head
I nearly jumped
I was staring down
ignoring everything

Now I stand
at the very edge
wondering it was right
to take a step back.
