Is it something worth thinking,
When the grass doesn't grow,
Or when the sun starts blinking?

What if critters started seeking,
For a new place to know?
Is it something worth thinking?

Would trees begin speaking,
If rain ceased to show,
Or when the sun starts blinking?

Then rivers began seeping,
Into the ground to help it grow.
Is it something worth thinking?

Would people begin shrieking,
If light refused to show,
Because the sun started blinking?

But no one would be speaking,
Because they refused to know,
That the sun started blinking.
Is that something worth thinking?

This is an oldie. I think It was part of the group of the first few decent poems i started to write. Maybe 4 years ago? What are your thoughts?
