An ode to my toes
My toes haven't seen the sun in months
They're getting kind of pale;
Peeling off my boots is like
Coming up for air, I fail
To see the point of all this rain and snow;
I've been underwater for six months
out of a year of twelve; my toes
Only come out of hibernation in the spring;
And this (I'm sure we can all agree)
Is a highly tragic thing.
Oh toesies; don't you worry
Soon you'll be wriggling in the sun
Athletes foot and fungal foes
Will no longer be a cause of woe
Oh toesies, toesies; toe -
Waggling in the sun for evermore.
