Sparkdance
Author:
Lord Thyrowing PM
I was inspired by Tori's From the Choirgirl Hotel to write something aquatic-themed. I swear the "Spark" in the title is a coincidence.

Everything I touch
Turns to flame
And will kill me if I stay
I'll sleep below the bassline
In temporary watery fleeting bliss...

The catatonic reflex
I can't be hurt; I can't be touched
The sparks dance higher and higher
And I can't come to
I can breathe here at least until the air runs out

And everything I see
Is up in flames
The smoke will choke me if I stay
So I sleep below the bassline
In temporary watery fleeting bliss...

Deep within the ash
Suffocate any sign of life
They pull me up to the sun
But it burns and burns and burns
Not at all worth the pain

And everything I had
Is burning bright
My mind can not bear the sight
I slept below the bassline
But it was just a temporary watery fleeting bliss...
