(A\N No flames, yada yada yada. I'm used to writing on [My user name on FFN is Emerald.H], and the characters for the story are on my profile or at the end of the story, which I recommond you read first, if you're wondering what they look like and all that jazz. You now may read.)

I stared out the window of the plane, with Carl, my older and annoying brother, munching loudly on a pack of peanuts that had been thrown at his face after an attempt to flirt with the flight attendant. Dad had recently gotten a job... In Hawaii.
But I'm sure it's no different than California, right? Right?!
Now I'm talking to myself... Great. "I'm in love." My brother whispered. I followed his gaze towards the flight attendant. "Omigosh, Carl. Get a grip!" He gave me a mischievous smirk. "Oh, I'd like to get a grip. On her-" I held up my hands. "AAHH! Okay! TMI! WTMI!" I yelled. I tossed on a pair of headphones and blasted 'You're gonna go far kid' by The Offspring. About 10 minutes, and 5 songs later I felt a punch on my arm. "OMG! WTF?!" No... I literally said 'OMG! WTF?!'.. "Please tell someone else about the flight attendant..." Carl rolled his eyes. "Okay 1: Her name is Chloe-e-e, and 2: I do believe we're landing, Lola dearie."
He finished in a false british accent. The plane landed, and Dad and Daisy waved us over with Rosie in my step mom's arms. "Carl, Lola! Did you enjoy the flight?" Daisy asked. I raised one eyebrow. "I think Carl over here enjoyed our flight a little too much." I retorted.
My step mother had a questioning look on her face. "Can we hurry and get to the house. I have to pee. I would've used the bathroom on the plane, but some fat dude was puking his guts out." I complained. Carl let out a chuckle. "You were just afraid you were gonna be sucked into the plane-toilet of doo-o-o-o-m." Dad smacked Carl upside the head. "Don't joke about that! It almost happened to me!" Why do I have the feeling that he too, is making fun of me? After a little argument about making fun of people, we finally got into the SUV and drove to the house. We passed loads of palm trees and hawaiian restraunts that was outside before we pulled up at the two story brick house.
"I expected this place to be a hut made outta straw." Carl said as we unbuckled. "Hawaii has brick houses too, and the person who lived here before us was a anti-straw person." Daisy replied. I looked at her over my wide round sunglasses with one eyebrow, yet again, raised. I often do a lot of one eyebrow raising around Daisy. "What happened to him-slash-her." Daisy shrugged. "It's a she, and she got a promotion and moved to New York City."
So, they just up and move to NY? I thought as I picked up my red, white and blue suitcases. The rest of our stuff should be arriving tonight or tommorow. "Hello! You must be the new neighbors." My head whipped around and I think my jaw hit the ground. He had to be around my age. He was tan, had a sorta dishwater blonde hair, hazel eyes, and a snow white smile.
He must go to the dentist regularly to keep his teeth that white... "I'm Ryan Williams, and you are?" I quickly tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "Oh... Er.. Ummm..." Why?! Why do I have to stutter? Grrr. Before I could finally find my voice, Daisy walked out on the porch. "Lola- Oh! I see you met Ryan." Is it just me, or did I see her smirk at me? "Well, I just wanted to tell you dinner'll be ready in a few, and I thought you would like to unpack." Her gaze travled to my suitcases. "Uh... Right.. I'm Lola Smith and I've got unpacking and organizing to do." The words tumbled out of my mouth in a rush. "Alright. See you later Lola." I blushed as Ryan put emphasis on my name. "'Kay, see ya." Daisy gave me a grin and led me to my new room. It was actually cool. The room, I mean. Daisy's cool too- Ah, forget it. It was a sand-y colored room with a huge bed with a emerald green blanket and lime colored pillows, wood flooring, a light wood dresser and a oval blue and green rug in front of the bed. And last but not least, an ocean view! I cannot wait till my surfboard arrives along with my other stuff. My friends Jenny and Kendra would not believe this! Just as I thought that, my phone rang. Sadly, it was a Net10 phone. (A\N I absolutely hate those phones!)

Kendra: Hey girl! Did you arrive there yet? And just so ya know, Jenny is on the phone too.

Jenny: Hi!

Me: You're not going to belive this, but... *Explains everything*

Kendra: ...

Jenny: ... That's it? ...

Me: Pret-t-y much.

Kendra: Ahem... So yeah! I gotta go now. *Hangs up*

Jenny: What she said!... Oh! And tell us when you go surfing!... I've always wanted to go surfing in Hawaii. *Hangs up*

Me: *Hangs up, duh!*

"Lola! Dinner." Carl called. That was quick. Dinner, I mean. I looked out the window towards the sea. "Enjoy the weekend while it lasts." Kendra always says. Now, I can't enjoy my weekend knowing that I'm starting a new school... In Hawaii, yay. Me.
