This is an edit because i found some places that needed work. Sorry about that! I'm new at this... Anyway, here's the story.
A long time ago when times of day didn't exist, there was a young girl. Her name was Day. She was like an angel; Very kind and gentle. She had blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a smile on her face. She soon met a young boy. His name was Night. He was a very mysterious and strange person. He had black hair, black eyes, and a frown on his face. They were total opposites but, despite their differences, they fell in love.
All of their friends were happy but the golden-haired twins, Evening and Morning, didn't like this one bit. Morning loved Day and Evening loved Night. They became very jealous of Day and Night. They paced the ground trying to think of a way to separate them. After many hours of thinking, Morning asked about River. Maybe he would help.
They ran over to River's home, their feet hitting the muddy ground loudly. Splat! Splat! River peeped his head out of the water as they peered over the side into his deep, blue eyes. "Oh River! Oh River! Can you please help us? We must break up Day and Night!"
But River only sighed, "If they love each other, you should leave them be." He gave them an ashamed look as he slowly disappeared into the water.
They pouted then began to think again. After some more thinking, Evening asked about Nature. Maybe she would help.
They ran over to Nature's home, their feet hitting the grassy ground. Stomp! Stomp! Nature looked up from her garden to see the two kids stop in front of her. "Oh Nature! Oh Nature! Can you please help us? We must break up Day and Night!"
But Nature only sighed, "If they love each other, you should leave them be." She also gave them an ashamed look before turning away.
As the twins continued to search for someone's aid, they discovered that none of them wanted to help and kept repeating the same response. The twins became angry bulls as they continued to hear the same answer. Right when they were about to give up, Morning thought of a plan. He whispered into Evening's ear as smiles crossed their lips. They ran off in opposite directions.
Evening kept running till she found Night all alone in the shade of a tree.
"Night, it's terrible! Day has gone missing! We must go find her!" lied Evening. Night stood up and gave her an alarmed look. "Morning is going to help out too! Follow me!"
Night did as he was told and grabbed her hand, running into the forest to search.
Meanwhile, Morning kept running till he found Day all alone basking in the sun.
"Day, it's terrible! Night has gone missing! We must go find him!" lied Morning. Day stood up as her smile began to fade. "Evening is going to help out too! Follow me!"
Day did as she was told and grabbed his hand, running into the village to search.
They searched and searched for each other for a very long time on land and eventually, decided to search the sky. When they climbed into the sky, they were caught up in Earth's orbit and ended up going in a circle, unable to return to earth. Day continued to look for Night but only saw Morning in front of her and Evening behind her while Night only saw Evening in front of him and Morning behind him. As they continued to search, the sun hit their hair, conveying different colors of each time of day. Evening and Morning continue to block them from seeing each other to this day but despite this, they continue to search for each other in the sky.
