There once lived a creature that possessed six tails with power over the elements, fire, earth, wind water, light and darkness. The creature sought pleasure in giving life to each tail and watching the opposites fight each other. Although not directly as it would cause him pain since even disconnected they were still a part of him. He allowed them clay soldiers that resembled humans as weapons to fight one another. Through each battle only two, light and darkness did he find the most enjoyable. For they were endowed with the ability to give the clay soldiers they created an extra advantage, they were allowed souls, giving them a higher level of consciousness.

However as time grew on light became increasingly distraught watching his soldiers on the battlefield as they died and were given life again. It seemed to cause them mental strain and in some cases they attempted to end their lives, only to be brought back again.

Darkness did not share his opposites view and felt no hardship watching them kill each other as well as die. "If they cause a trouble then wipe the soul clean and start again."

Light felt differently "I'm tired of causing them pain." he reasoned. "Just take the soul away and they'll be as mindless as the others."

Light was mortified but gave in and took the souls away from his soldiers to take away the pain he was causing them. Leaving only darkness with soldiers that still possessed souls.

The battles continued on with Darkness at an advantage with his soldiers however for light the decision would always be the same not to cause pain. Even if it mean losing.

For the creature they came from it meant the battles were no longer as interesting and so he forced light to give back the souls and when he refused. he was forced

With the souls given back and the battles resuming light began damning darkness for he could not take his anger out on his creator. Light finally decided to fight darkness one on one for a change. Challenging his opposite to a duel without soldiers was something unheard of to any of the six. It caused darkness uneasiness however his desire to be victor won out and the two fought.

When the creator felt pain and realized what was going on he went to them just as light was about to destroy darkness and began to stop them by destroying light altogether. As he moved to kill light, darkness sensing what was about to happen made a move that changed all things. He gave himself form by forcing himself into smaller pieces and placing them inside of light's soldiers. Following his lead light also forced itself into smaller pieces alongside darkness. The end result changed the soldiers into humans and the other elements no longer desiring to be ruled saw what the other did and changed themselves to protect the humans.

Earth became dirt beneath the human to give him stability, wind, air to breathe, water to drink and fire to keep him warm and safe for when this was all done the creator created six calamities to cause light and darkness pain in hopes to return them to him.
