silence is painful, but what if it's only broken by the cheers of those more fortunate than you

It echoes through my mind

that feeling

that unbearable sound

the sound of true pain

the sound that echoes through my mind

a never ending ring

the sound of complete nothing is what kills me now

the never ending silence of that place fills my mind

it makes my hands shake

my breath stops

my words are slurred

I curse under my breath

that echoing silence

then covered by screams

painful howls of joy

then the silence returns

I sit outside of the old theatre

I hear the people having fun

while they let me sit

I wallow in the thought of my old joy

crying on the inside

so now here I sit

being consumed by the joy of others

others more lucky than I
