Cold.
It has its embrace wrapped around my blue body, refusing to let go. It has a vice grip around my neck, and I can't breathe.
I…feel something. Something warm. What is it? I can't open my eyes. If I did, I might lose the only trace of thought I have left.
It's wet. That warmth. Water? Blood? What?
Got to…find myself. Otherwise I won't get out of this alive.

Eerie shadows and bloodthirsty creatures - sadistic smiles.
Her home.
One would be a fool to venture in the depths of this forest. One would be slaughtered.
Leading to her satisfaction. A bloody romance of one.
Living in Solitude, her only satisfaction of beauty. Hearing screams of the damned makes the darkness more lively.

I finally have the strength to move. My legs are as heavy as lead. I feel light-headed. I'm hungry and I'm sore.
There's a chilling breeze in the air, something unsafe. But the animals seem to stay.
I look up to see the full moon shine through the clouds. You never really think about it, but, it always feels like the moon's following you, and at the same time, you're chasing it.

Crack. Snap.

I'm amazed at how long I've been able to keep myself up. I can't remember anything before now.

An innocent presence… A frightened one.
Confused and lonely.

I turn my head to see him. Through the thick trees, I see him in his distress.

Delicious.

He looked like a bloody mess! The bittersweet maroon staining his skin and clothes.

I dived back into the water. It's freshening effect healing my senses. Reclaiming my innocence once again.
Just to lose it once more.

Water? I heard it. Is someone here besides myself?

Facing my head towards the sound, I see a girl. Her back facing me. Her pale ivory skin glistening in the light that the sun gives. Wet, ebony hair covering her slim shoulders.

All I could do was stare. Even when she turned around and faced me, I still made no attempt to move.
The curvature of her lips was absolutely perfect. Her smile took my breath away.

That ebony hair of hers framing her face, making her dark, violet eyes seem so much brighter.

Like a punch in the gut, the air rushed out of my lungs.

And there he was. Staring endlessly and admirable at me.
I flashed him a smile, obviously making him infatuated.

How amusing.

This one, however, seems different. He doesn't look as stupid as he does confused.
Strong willed and prideful, his eyes still hold the light.

I casually walk over to the mossy covered rock near the shoreline and put on the silk dress that was laid across it.

Using my eyes as a guide, I egged him on.

Follow me, my eyes whisper. Follow me to where we can be alone.

I follow. I'm following into the depths of that I don't know.
Who knows where this Temptress will take me.

But for the moment being, I don't care. Not even the thoughts of not knowing who I am bothers me.

I follow, chase, her through the thick pine of the forest.

Something, though. Something's compelling me to follow her. Like it's telling me 'no'.

I run away from it as it keeps chasing me. My shadow running in the opposite direction.

Empty. The perfect area for the forbidden ritual I practice.
"O thou shall not suffer once thy is free."

I chant into the open darkness. Leading to my whereabouts so he can find me.
I shadow myself behind the darkness. Just to see if he'll come.
Though, I already know the answer to this.

Oh, her angelic voice echoing through the thickness, full of malice.
My legs unconsciously guide me to an empty area. The sight of the beautiful Temptress no where to be seen.
I move forward towards the cool rock in front of me.

It might sound crazy, but I feel that if I focus on this long enough, I'll find her.
I press my hands and forehead to the uneven surface.

It feels nice. The temperature of this surface. Relief washes over me.
My mind feels like it's under hypnosis, wanting to succumb to the feeling of sleep.

Wait. What's this feeling? It hurts. More pain?

I lift my head and look down.

Blood? Red and warm. It stains the rock. This wasn't there before.
I feel something slide out of my body, I stumble backwards and fall.

I see her. The Temptress.
She's holding an axe stained in blood… My blood.
Oh, what a vixen she is. If only I could see through the illusion. Alas, was it really an illusion? I would never know, for I don't even know who I, myself, is.

That same smile, her smile, is shown as she readies herself for the final blow.
She smiles as the bittersweet maroon spews in directions uncharted.

The last thing I see…before I depart in such a travesty…is her sweet sadistic smile.

Hello!

I hope you all thought this was good. I wanted to submit it for a writing competition at school, but my printer didn't work and I couldn't.

I was really bummed.

So yes, this is the very first piece of writing I've submitted on here. I obviously don't get on here much, and I am working on a piece on FanFiction right now, so most of my time will be occupied on there. But I will check on here frequently as well.

I have the same pen name on FanFiction as I do here, so don't hesitate to find me if you like my style or anything.

So uh, yeah. Have a nice day! Reviews are always welcome. As well as honest criticism.
