PAIN
I woke up to pain. Deep searing pain all over my body. Blurry bodies stand over, eyes fixed on me. A needle jabs into my leg and a knew kind of pain takes over as the world around me fades into darkness.
I woke from a dreamless sleep to an extremely bright light that my eyes couldn't handle and I closed them. Voices sounded from all around, but they were loud, so loud it felt like they were screaming in my ear. I tried moving my hands to block out the sound but they're pinned down. All my body aches but nothing can move. Then the table started moving down a long hallway. The only thing I could see was the roof... it was white, go figer. I started thinking but I couldn't remember anything before the pain. The table came to sudden stop and I felt a shadow loom over me. I didn't know who he was but I hated him. I decided to call him... all of them pain givers. My eyes hurt just from the second I squinted at the roof. It was killing me not knowing what was going on. "Wonderful." Screamed a pain giver. "Put subject 93 in it's cage and we will start testing tomorrow."
What did that mean? The pain in my eyes and ears was making it too hard to think. The table moved again making turn after turn until I felt it go over a bump then stop. The straps on my wrists and ankles were undone. Instantly I jumped up and off the cart while letting out a silent sound. It bounced back telling me there are walls all around and the only door was behind me. I backed up into a corner and whirled around fear pulsing through my blood! The door closed with a click and the foot steps died away. Then my hand brushed something soft and leathery.
