A Dancing Heart
Rare is the day a lady doth linger, with such beauty in her eyes.
Blessing mere mortals with her gentle gaze, searching out her prize.
With practiced care, her smile sets alight, the soul of every man.
Expect not to escape her steely grasp; there are few, indeed, who can.
An angelic visage she wears so humbly, but there are demons in her eyes.
Her playful nature abounds in spades, and yet at night she cries.
Hope plays off her very heart, inspiring her to dance,
And yet she longs for something more; a man who'll take a chance.
So now she sits here woefully, her spirit nearly crushed.
Questioning her very soul, and worried who to trust.
But her worries are unfounded, and tears all gone to waste.
A man will come to fill those dreams; her heart will soon be chased.
