a short little poem about love, i don't normally write about love or romance like this cause it's a topic i feel is exaggerated and over used but sometimes it's just the easiest because there is so much out there to inspire you for it even if you are like me, heartless LOL.

forever blowing past
slipping through your fingers
slipping through your grasp
love is like the wind
cold and harsh and strong
love is like a winter storm
forever brewing on
love is like the wind
gentle cool and slow
love is like a lullaby,
that lulls you to and thro
love is like a feather
so gentle, light and soft
love is like a feather
tender to your touch
love is like a butterfly
fluttering out of reach
love is like a butterfly
resting by your cheek
love is like a war
scarring up my past
love is like a war
and for you i'll fight my best
