Perspective
.
I can say for certain
That I hate overused
Metaphors and washed out
Clichés.
.
Your eyes do look like chocolate,
They are warm and gooey,
Sweet and everything despicable,
Fill me up with yourself,
Give me diabetes. Make me fat.
Rot my teeth and shoot me
Up with insulin.
I can't wait.
.
You make me feel like I'm on fire,
Flames licking my skin, gasoline
And a spark, lightning bolts,
Fireworks, Candles and a star
Millions of years away,
Magma at the very center
Of a volcano and lava as it
Spills, watch me spill,
Watch me destroy
Everything in my path,
Watch me take down a city,
Let them write history books
On my wrath.
.
You are the missing
Piece of my puzzle,
That stupid piece
I can't find no matter
How hard I try.
You are the piece
I spent ages looking
For under the carpet,
You are the one thing
That stops me
From being complete.
