What a lovely Saturday
no sun in sight
grey clouds up above me
this my kind of Saturday

Not cold enough for my bones
people are scattered, scarce
the city-town is blissfully silent
don't wanna sit at home

The sun peeks out
from time to time
a slight breeze lifts my hair
there is no room here for doubt

I've emptied my mind of all my fears
and plan to walk around this town today
it's so very nice out and it will never last
this kind of day to me is certainly dear

What a lovely Saturday
it's simply strange in what I love
I prefer days like this to sunny and warm
