the burgundy carnival lights whir into gear
pink nighttime dreams echo like flamingos
abandoned seats twinkle, the remaining shadows restless and longing
be wary of the moaning fairies, they'll tempt you with sugar and lead you into thorns
rolling toward the place you can never remember
