On the Path

Life is a journey on a path,

And here's a kind that seems strange to many.

It has a special aftermath,

And here is why it is not like any.

The road ahead will change by the moves I make.

By my choice, it is attacked by a "Torment Man".

But I'm saved by the One who cares for my sake

Since from that demon I ran.

Here is what the "Torment Man" wants:

He will jump on the path and throw danger at me.

For its people, he endlessly taunts

Because of how we think and see.

Yet there's One who is always there.

He guides me on this path every day.

He yields a sword, full of mercy and care

And died to save me which was the only way.

Although this road is twisted and awry,

It is also made straight for some.

Who have went to the One who heard their cry

And gave them a new glowing freedom.

Some may not understand my choice,

But everyone needs this path; it's the way to go.

And for those who still do not understand my voice,

I am a Christian, and I just told you what I know.
