It's not that easy being here

Having to spend each day questioning the insignificant things

When I think it could be nicer being French or Norwegian or Swiss

Or something much more exotic like that.

It's not easy being here

It seems you just can't do anything right.

And people tend to grade you 'cause you're

Not perfect like they want you to be or as talented as they appear.

But here is alright;

And here can be a joyful memory and child-like

And here can be passionate like your true love's first kiss.

Or perfect like a shooting star in a dreamless sky

Or enchanting like a night's silent song whispered in your ears.

When here is all there is to be

It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?

Wonder, I am here and it'll do fine,

It's crystal clear now that here is where I belong

And I think it's what I want to be.
