Death sits on my chest

He's watching me

Waiting...

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

His breath on my cheek

It's so cold...

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

His arms move to my throat

His sleeve brushes my nose

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

His long fingers

Are ice

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

He's mocking me

Waiting

Like a crow

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

I can't breathe

Ice is my veins

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

Why can't you see him?

His blood red gash

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

His lips form a smile

I'm scared

I won't beg

Death sits on my chest

I can't breathe

I'm dying

I won't beg

I won't beg

I won't beg

His leaden weight on my chest

Crushes me

I won't beg

He is my last enemy

And I shall conquer him
